How Long Does It Actually Take?
Honest answer: It depends. The lowest is 1 hour and highest is 4 hours.
STEP 1: DESIGN THE HTML
Design is what takes bulk of time. It’s also fun. You absolutely dont need coding for this. You can use Claude design (preferred) or Codex or any vibe coding tool to build an HTML page. Don’t worry if this stumps you, there is already a packaged prompt to do exactly this so you just need to copy-paste. Rough Estimate: 1-2 Hrs See a sample we are using on our own tool!
STEP 2: WRITE YOUR AI PROMPT
For a Simple tool (one input, one recommendation): 20–30 minutes including writing and testing the prompt.Medium tool (multi-step input, conditional outputs): 1–2 hours. Most of that is prompt refinement — getting the AI to give the right answer, not just an answer. Rough Estimate: 1 Hr
STEP 3: INSTALL THE PLUGIN
The plugin setup itself takes 5 minutes to upload and install. Once installed, Choose your model, token limit, add the prompt and HTML.
Is This Secure? In short, yes.
- The API key is never exposed on the front end. User only ever sees the response.
- We recommend not to have text fields and design the HTML with other inputs (this is included in prompt). This saves against prompt injection attacks.
- There’s already rate limiting for abuse but you can be stricter.
